Make AutoCut · Video guide
Remove silence from video without losing the voice.
Shorten pauses in a lesson, interview or YouTube video. Preview your settings before producing the final file.
Open the video studio1. Upload your video
Open the studio and import an MP4, MOV, MKV or WEBM file. The waveform shows the voice and detected pauses. The automatic threshold starts from the sound levels in your recording.
2. Listen and adjust
Switch between the original and the result. If a useful pause or quiet word was cut, click the removed area to restore it, or lower the threshold. Keep a silence margin to preserve the pace and breathing.
3. Export your edit
Choose MP4 for video. Cut boundaries are aligned to whole frames and applied to the audio too. Pro editing timelines let you continue in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
Which settings should you use?
A longer minimum silence keeps short pauses. A larger silence margin leaves more room between sentences. Minimum speech stays at zero by default to preserve short words; increase it only when you want to remove isolated noises.
What about filler words?
Pro transcription proposes fillers such as “um” and “uh”. Listen to the passages, keep useful words and enable filler cuts after reviewing them. Automatic detection still needs an editorial decision.
