Who processes your data
KIPDEV SAS (SIREN 884 120 890), publisher of make-autocut.com. Contact: contact@make-autocut.com.
What we process, and why
- Your audio and video files, to analyze and cut them. They are stored on our server (Hostinger, Paris) and deleted automatically: 2 hours after upload on the free plan; 24 hours (source) and 7 days (rendered file) on Pro. You can delete them earlier from the tool or your workspace.
- Transcription (Pro, on request) runs on our server with a local model (whisper.cpp). The text is never sent to a third party and follows the file’s retention.
- Your e-mail address, if you give it (sign-in link, purchase): it signs you in without a password, delivers your purchase and, unless you opt out, sends at most three commercial messages after an upload, then nothing. Every message has a one-click unsubscribe link; the setting is also in your workspace.
- A technical identifier (cookie
mac_anon, 1 year) links your files to your browser and counts free analyses; cookiemac_session(30 days) keeps you signed in. Both are necessary to the service and used for nothing else. - Your IP address, in server logs and to cap free usage (30 days).
- Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. We keep the Stripe customer id, the plan and its end date for the duration of the access, then 12 months (accounting: 10 years for invoices).
Cookies and analytics
The site uses kipstats, KIPDEV’s cookie-less analytics with no persistent identifier, which loads only after you accept in the banner. The banner is provided by Orbe (orbeconsent.com, KIPDEV); your choice is stored for 6 months in cookie cnst_choice and a timestamped proof of consent is kept. No advertising trackers, no fonts loaded from Google (we serve them). Change your mind anytime: .
